The dates for the 2026 Waverley Representative Team selection trials are as follows:

Cost: $20.00 plus booking fees.

To determine which age group a player is eligible for, it is decided by their actual age as on 31st December 2026. Therefore, please refer to the applicable birth years for each age group in the Waverley Rep Team:

Waverley Night Netball Association Representative Team
Selection & Program Information
Coaches:
If you are a coach, interested in coaching in the program, please email info@waverleynetball.com.au
The Coaches will be a part of a team that will also include a strength and conditioning coach.
Selections:
Independent selectors will work with appointed coaches to carry out selection of the teams.
Eligibility:
Players must have played in an eligible team/club in the Waverley Night Netball Association competitions in 2025 and/or will play a minimum of 7 games in 2026, in a Waverley Night Netball Association competitions.
Commitment:
Each player will be expected to pay a levy to be a part of the program. The levy will cover the cost of competition and tournament entry, competition fee and umpire fees, coach remuneration, court hire for training and other specialist programs.
19 & Under Program:

The selected team will play in the 19/Under State Super Series Competition at the Waverley Netball Centre on a Friday night, between March & September and play in 1 tournament, including the Netball Victoria Association Championships Open Age tournament.

Training will be held predominantly on a Monday night at Waverley Netball Centre from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

Players will be expected to pay a levy this may vary between teams based on the competition court fees, (amount to be confirmed of approximately $750).
17 & Under Program:

The selected team will play in the Waverley Night NA Wednesday 17 & Under Premier League Competition at the Waverley Netball Centre and play 2 tournaments in preparation for the Netball Victoria Association Championships.

Training will be held predominantly on a Monday night at Waverley Netball Centre from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

Players will be expected to pay a levy this may vary between teams based on the competition court fees, (amount to be confirmed of approximately $900 - $930).
13 & Under and 15 & Under Program:

The selected teams will play in the Waverley Night NA Thursday night Competition at the Waverley Netball Centre and play tournaments including the Netball Victoria Association Championships.

Training will be held predominantly on a Tuesday night at Waverley Netball Centre from 5.30pm to 7.00pm.

Players will be expected to pay a levy (amount to be confirmed of approximately $900).

11 & Under Program:

The selected teams will play in a variety of tournaments, Spring Monday night competitions and receive Specialist Development Coaching.

Training will be held predominantly on a Tuesday night at Waverley Netball Centre from 5.30pm to 7.00pm.

Players will be expected to pay a levy (amount to be confirmed of approximately $900).
Waverley Night Netball Association are making a commitment to provide a player and coach development program as part of the Representative Team program.

Players and parents/guardians commit to:

Players: Participating in a team/club for a minimum of 7 games in a 2026 WNNA competition (not applicable to 19/U teams).

Parents/Guardians: Actively encouraging your daughter/son at every opportunity.

Abiding by the Netball Victoria Codes of Conduct (available on our website).

Agreeing to pay the Player Levy by the due date.

Attending all training sessions, competition games, and tournaments, unless prevented by exceptional circumstances.

Showing respect to all players, coaches, umpires, and officials.
